Alright alright, so, I didn't see the last reply. Once Episode 2 was up I forgot all about this thread. My bad!
1.
You stated earlier on in this episode's thread that you were pretty much 100% certain that the first chatroom was made by the other tribe. Can you explain where that near 100% confidence comes from in that read?
This one is definitely ironic; I originally assumed it was the other tribe because of the timing of the chatroom's creation. I know for a fact I was the last one around on the first night because I remember saying something about how it felt "safe" to leave. And I happened to get back on really early the following morning, the chatroom still wasn't there but appeared at some point early on that day, when there were only Kallpa players around. It was just what "made sense" to me with this context
That being said, I haven't been able to shake off the feeling that that's actually where the idol is and I've been thinking about that a LOT since Sunday. The fact that there still hhasn't been ANY activity at all in that chatroom has really been adding fuel to that fire. There's always the possibility that it was done on purpose just to create paranoia and get people to get into the game but I want to think that there's more to it then just psychological manipulation
2. You said you were a technical recruiter back in the episode 0 confessional. Let's say you're responsible for recruiting all your tribe mates. What's their unique traits that stand out to you, the negative ones that hurt them, and what kind of roles would you be looking to recruit them into? I'm basically asking you to do your job for free for our entertainment. Dance puppet, dance.
Hahahah wow. let's do it then. I'm sure I can find out who to send a bill to at the end of this
Abraham : Very low maintenance and seems to really approach things with his head rather than his heart. He's very logical but still super social and approachable. I know he works in a very technical role and I definitely understand why. He fits in a position that requires him to be analytical and logical. There's no gray zones in his job, it's black or white. It works or it doesn't. I don't believe he currently is in a management-type of position but I think he is suited for it and he definitely has some good qualifies to transfer into that kind of role.
Danny : Very stealthy, almost like he's invisible. I think he would be perfect around Halloween for ambience, or if you ever inherit an old mansion in the countryside and feel like a ghost haunting the place might add to the mood.
Evvie : Very sociable. She definitely needs to be in a position where she interact with people but not where she is "above them". I don't think she is assertive enough to be in a management-type of role and I believe she doesn't have the confidence to step up in any meaningful way. She is 100% an asset and would be a fantastic employee, maybe as a designer, assuming she is creative) or technical support person.
Heather : Would be extremely hard to manage or to properly integrate to a team. Probably either extremely shy or with very low self confidence, to a point where she is just very closed off and comes off as cold. I would never, ever choose to represent Heather with one of my clients. I don't believe the good is enough to offset the bad here. But if I had to pick a role, I think she would be best suited for a technical writer or an analyst.
Sara : Sara's tough. I believe Sara is very commited, very dedicated to seeing things through and she isn't afraid to put in the work when needed. She's very detail oriented and analytical but I think there is also a very strong desire to perform and to prove herself. I don't believe Sara would accept anything less than a team lead type of position because she wants to have some kind of control. She isn't suited for upper management roles or positions involving overseeing entire projects and multiple teams but I could see her as 'team lead' or maybe Scrum Master. I do think employee retention for anyone working under Sara would be the issue though. I don't think she would be able to keep people happy long term. I would also be very careful in which type of environment I try to place her in. A very corporate / strict and well-structured environment would probably be her best bet.
Shan : Shan is definitely a jack of all trades. I think I have a leg up on that answer because her and I have talked about her job a little already. She's very sociable but also a hard worker who can actually deliver. She definitely feels like the perfect mix and she checks a LOT of boxes when it comes to recruitement. It makes sense that she's in a position where she has to wear many different hats and sort of be the one person to do everything. If she chose to move into larger environments, Shan would be best suited for a Team Lead / Department Lead on a path to Director level positions if they allowed her to still be hands on once in a while.
Xander : He needs to be in a very creative but very laid back environment. Xander would be the perfect fit for the video game industry. UX/UI designer, 2D/3D artist, level designer or anything similar would be where I see him. If it's not in the videogame industry, I think a start-up would be best for him because he might be a little too "chill" for a corporate environment. I also think that Xander is a sleeper in the sense that he gives off a very laid back vibe but I believe that he is actually a hard worker who takes pride in doing things right and seeing the result of his work.
