Stranded in the Andes

This is the first officialday of your journey in Stranded! You'll have the weekend to get to know your tribe better, I suggest bonding well with each other over the coming days. There were questions in the pre-season confessional, but let's give a couple more.

1. The Tribe Leader is an intriguing position... what do you think it means? Would you want to be it or not? How do you feel of who gets it?
2. People are chatting it up today, so give us the deets: who are you vibing with, who are you more mellow on, etc?
3. Any plans for the weekend? Both in-game or out of it?

Trust me, when we say this game will get real intense and fast once the challenges begin to start after the weekend, we mean it. Good luck! And as always, feel free to type or speak whatever you want in here.

I have no idea to be honest but I didn't want it regardless lol.  Either it's something bad or it puts you in the spotlight which I also try to stay away from as long as I can.  The tribe was annoying the crap out of me last night by being so wishy-washy but I didn't want to get pegged as the unofficial tribe leader either lol.  Which is probably what everyone else was thinking.  Deshawn moves up in my rankings for stepping up though!

Evvie seems to be madly in love with Xander which I do not understand and it kind of makes me slightly doubt my love for Evvie. This is how Xander's and my chat started this morning:


Some people truly enjoy and excel at small talk, and I am not one of them.    I am an introvert through and through, if it requires expending energy thinking of what to say to you then I probably won't say much lol.  This is for sure a flaw of mine and something I struggle against in every org I play, and my success often comes down to how many people are like me or not.  If I'm on a tribe with other "gamer" types who are ready to hit the ground running, then we band together and take out the non-substance players.  But sometimes the majority of the tribe LIKES people like that and then I just look like an overplayer and end up at the bottom.  Unfortunately I think this tribe likes the superficial chit chatters, plus we have an inactive, so these are the times I get myself into trouble by going too hard lol.  I'M JUST IMPATIENT I'M SORRY! 

Also Heather started out so strong, she was so easy to talk to, and then she just kind of like... sucked lol.  It was like pulling teeth trying to get her to say anything that would keep up the flow of a conversation.  I'm hoping she just got busy or overwhelmed or something.

Any plans for the weekend? Both in-game or out of it?
I will probably make a concerted effort to lay somewhat low this weekend (low for me anyway) so that I don't over-exacerbate the potentially strong relationships I have with a couple people and accidentally start drama/make people hate me by overplaying.  I hope we lose the challenge tbh so that we can ditch our inactive and kick people into gear a little.  There's nothing worse or more boring than a tribe that is too comfortable with its safety.  Out of game I don't have much going on.  Well I have a 3 year old so there's always something going on lol but nothing planned at the moment.

1.       How did the challenge planning talks go down tonight, any surprises there?
Not really any surprises in the planning part, but in the tribe chat Sara kept like... forgetting I exist??  It was super weird and I don't know if she was doing it on purpose but it feels kind of shitty to be actively participating in the chat and then keep getting left off the assignment lists and have to be like "hi i'm here remember??"  I'll see if I can find examples in the chat when tribal is over.

2.       How do you feel about your own challenge performance?
A little concerned, because if I was the first one to finish then we're probably screwed for future challenges lol.  I'm not concerned about coming off as a challenge threat because by the time the merge happens the truth will be clear  

3.       As you’ve been getting to know your fellow tribe members, are any working relationships forming?
Yes!  Since the episode is about to change I'll save the larger update for the next post so it doesn't get lost, but my main allies are still Evvie and Abraham with Deshawn right below them, and tonight Abraham pitched solidifying that four.  I felt like that was going to happen because I think the four of us are the strongest, or at least know what we're doing the most lol.  Heather is also trying to start a girls' alliance with Evvie and me, and Abraham said she wants an alliance with the four of us, but I really need Evvie to get online so I can figure out what she's thinking.
