Episode 01: Haykuykuy! This is Stranded in The Andes!

HELLO AND WELCOME!!!

This is the first officialday of your journey in Stranded! You'll have the weekend to get to know your tribe better, I suggest bonding well with each other over the coming days. There were questions in the pre-season confessional, but let's give a couple more.

  1. The Tribe Leader is an intriguing position... what do you think it means? Would you want to be it or not? How do you feel of who gets it?
  2. People are chatting it up today, so give us the deets: who are you vibing with, who are you more mellow on, etc?
  3. Any plans for the weekend? Both in-game or out of it?
Trust me, when we say this game will get real intense and fast once the challenges begin to start after the weekend, we mean it. Good luck! And as always, feel free to type or speak whatever you want in here.

When I was a little girl, I always wanted a dog and then I got one and of course I loved him and I was very sad when he died, but I didn’t fully bond with him and I realized as I got older that I have a hard time bonding with animals in general. When I would go to my friends houses and they had animals I just wasn’t interested in them. And the animal hair all over clothes and furniture really grosses me out I love people‘s relationship with their animals. I think animals are truly smart and devoted creatures. I understand that peoples pets are a family member, but for me personally, I have no desire to own a pet I don’t feel connected to animals my husband really wants a dog and I told him I would be open to it when we’re like 60 retired and have nothing better to do with our lives. I don’t know if that makes me sound cold because I am a very empathetic person. seeing an animal suffer makes me very sad seeing anyone suffer makes me very sad. I feel like it’s the same with people who don’t want kids right? It’s not like they hate children. It’s just that they have no desire to have a child. But if they saw a child suffering of course they would have empathy and want to help. I feel the same toward animals.I just have no desire to have a pet. But I do believe that I need to make a sacrifice for the person I love so we will be getting a pet sooner than I would like but I told him it has to be one of those dogs that don’t shed because I cannot compromise when it comes to the dog hair or any animal hair for that matter I hope this answers your question about my views on animals. I really didn’t think you guys would be this interested in the fact that I’m not an animal lover

Nah people are just weird about anyone not loving animals.

Pets are just pets, not members of a family. Come at me lurkers.

Pets are part of the family. If someone is not up for caring for a child or pet for any reason, it's perfectly fine not to have/get them.

Sorry to hijack your thread Jaime! Carry on, lol.

Great effort on the Puzzling challenge tonight. Please share your thoughts about the challenge and tomorrow’s vote with your avid lurkers.

1.            How did the challenge planning talks go down tonight, any surprises there?

2.            How do you feel about your own challenge performance?

3.            Who is being talked about for a potential vote tomorrow night?

4.            As you’ve been getting to know your fellow tribe members, are any working relationships forming?

Bonus question: Is how you convey your knowledge of US states genuine, or part of your "dumb blonde" act?
