HELLO AND WELCOME!!!

This is the first officialday of your journey in Stranded! You'll have the weekend to get to know your tribe better, I suggest bonding well with each other over the coming days. There were questions in the pre-season confessional, but let's give a couple more.

  1. The Tribe Leader is an intriguing position... what do you think it means? Would you want to be it or not? How do you feel of who gets it?
  2. People are chatting it up today, so give us the deets: who are you vibing with, who are you more mellow on, etc?
  3. Any plans for the weekend? Both in-game or out of it?
Trust me, when we say this game will get real intense and fast once the challenges begin to start after the weekend, we mean it. Good luck! And as always, feel free to type or speak whatever you want in here.

What’s up everyone. Today I went to the Parthenon in Athens. Super fun time. About to take a ferry to Naxos and enjoy some relaxing beach days. As for game, I’m glad that I stayed away from tribe leader position. I’m probably going to try and talk to the tribe leader at some point so I’m not their main target, but I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m looking to be on that side of the numbers. Really vibing with Leslie and Erik, not sure how I feel about Denise. But we shall see. Again, trying to be lowkey for now and even though Erik is from Australia, I’m still keeping quiet about it because people may see that as a disadvantage and I’m happy to nod my head in agreement if it buys me more time in the game.

Quick update for y’all. Made some “allies.” Really doesn’t mean anything yet, just need to do this so I’m not the first target. Figured it would be smart to talk to Aaron, don’t know what power he will have, so I need to be on his good side for now. Leslie I actually do like, could see myself working with her, but still way too early to tell. Am hoping Frosti and some others who haven’t reached out do soon, I don’t wanna be too aggressive right now.

PS- how do I go on do not disturb mode in the chat room? Can’t figure that out

I’m back. Todays mission while on the beautiful island of Mykonos was to talk to the tribe members I haven’t yet spoken to. Here’s what I’ve gathered… Leslie seems dope, would love to work with her, but she talked up Denise and her and I have barely talked. Jaime and Shere seem really sweet but haven’t gotten to talking much game with either of them yet. Made sure to get on Aaron’s good side. I don’t want the tribe leader wanting me out of the game. Then Frosti and Erik seem to be who Aaron wants to work with alongside me. I have to be careful because talking to everyone could come back to bite me if I say too much to multiple people. So even though I’m being social fast, I’m taking the conversations slowly to let everyone feel like JR is just excited to play some online survivor with them. As for who I’m targeting, I genuinely have no idea yet, but I’m sure tomorrows challenge will be the start of a bunch of chaos that makes this game so special.

So there are chirps about an alliance which would consist of the four males on the tribe: Me, Aaron, Frosti, and Erik. It’s not official and there’s no chat yet, but I feel that will come soon. I don’t really feel much allegiance to it yet, but it’s good to be a part of it for numbers and allies early. All three other guys seem cool and I don’t want to rock the boat too early. Frosti mentioned that Sherea is a good initial target. I’m fine with that, we haven’t talked much and she’s been a little weird in conversations. I also haven’t spoken much to Denise, she actually just reached out though which I’m happy about. Right now I want to believe that Leslie and I have got each other’s backs, so if any of the girls want to vote me out she can let me know and get the target off my back. And then with the guys, hoping that there isn’t much movement beyond maybe establishing a group chat. Excited for the challenge tonight, hopefully we win and dont even have to think about a vote out, but if it’s needed, I’ll be prepared.

Great effort on the Puzzling challenge tonight. Please share your thoughts about the challenge and tomorrow’s vote with your avid lurkers.

1.            You missed the challenge tonight, how do you think that will impact your game, if at all, moving forward?

2.           Who is being talked about for a potential vote tomorrow night?

3.            As you’ve been getting to know your fellow tribe members, are any working relationships forming?

1. I didn’t “miss” the challenge. I was active even though I wasn’t much of a participant. Honestly, I’d be surprised if this impacted my game regardless, hard to tell what each challenge will be like and I didn’t make any mistakes that lost it for our tribe.

2. Everyone seems to be on board with Sherea. She hasn’t really connected with anyone, is a bit abrasive, and looks like an easy boat. I don’t want to rock the boat too early and I feel like this will help me advance without any consequences down the road. That’s where my vote will be unless I feel Sherea is targeting me and/or may have an idol. Or, of course if something crazy happens, this is Survivor after all.

3. I’m definitely getting after it with my social game. I know there’s a possibility I sound like a fool right now, but I’m currently pretty content with where I stand on the tribe. Great individual relationships with Leslie and Jamie. Leslie and I openly say to each other we’re working together and Jamie and I just kind of seem to want to keep each other around. Then I have a chat with the other guys on the tribe, feels like Frosti is in charge of that “alliance” but I think that’s also good to have for numbers. Obviously, never know what’s going on behind my back, but I feel like I’ve had a solid start and can survive until I return to the states.
