-- 5th Place - Voted Out 3-2 --

Sherea was voted out, and you’ve survived your first tribal council. There is still a long way to go before claiming the prize, but you’re one step further. Please share your thoughts on how it went down and how you feel about it.

1.       Sherea went home tonight. Was this the right move for your game? Why or why not?

2.       What type of player (strategic mastermind, social butterfly, under the radar, challenge beast, goat, wild card) are you trying to be at this stage of the game? How do you think your fellow tribe members perceive your current player type? Why?

3.       Do you have the “right” Survivor rep? If not, what rep would you have chosen for yourself? If the Survivor rep we chose for you suits you, what qualities do you think you share? How are you making your rep work for you if you are?

4.       Tomorrow is a challenge AND tribal council. Now that you have done one challenge for yourselves, what could be in store for you and your tribe? Think you can handle losing and having tribal council soon after?

5.       Speaking of challenges, what is your stance on physical players? Do you value people in the tribe who are good at challenges and want to keep them around even if they're not the best socially with you?

  1. Sherea going home is perfect for my game. Didn’t have to ruffle any feathers and voted out the person I had talked to the least so far.
  2. These first couple of days, I have tried to stay under the radar and I’ll let my strategic mastermind come out to play once I’m back home and the game progresses a bit. I think the tribe sees me as someone who is east to talk to, but not a huge threat. Part of that is because it’s what I want them to believe, but I also do think that it’s early and the true threats haven’t been established yet.
  3. Getting JR as my rep is so funny. I came into the interview trying to be myself and I was told that I was bland, so my fight or flight instinct came to fruition in the form of a cocky edge. I wanted to appear like an entertaining loose cannon, so y’all enjoyed the idea of watching me. I appreciate being casted, but I would say my player comparison is closer to Jesse from Season 43. Although I am strategic and will look to make big moves, i prioritize building relationships more than the real JR did. With that being said, I love being JR because the real JR wasn’t taken too seriously in China, so I’m hoping people see my alias and think that I’m not a “legitimate” threat to outlast them in the game.
  4. I can definitely handle another tribal but would prefer not to lose the next challenge. I don’t want the other tribe to have a large majority at the merge if I get there, so that would mean we gotta win some challenges. I’ll be on my computer so I can give the challenge my all and we’ll see what happens. Going to have to figure out who to vote out today if we lose. For me, the choice is obvious, Denise. Have great individual relationships with Jaime and Leslie and then the Malibu “alliance” has the numbers already so getting out Denise would put me in a really good position to make the merge.
  5. To be honest, this is a computer game, so challenge threats aren’t as clear and defined as they are in real survivor. I minimally value challenge performance in my consideration on who to vote out because it really is a crapshoot. Also, I haven’t really shown my challenge prowess quite yet myself, so I guess I’m a little biased. Happy to stay alive and excited for tonight!

So I’m in Zurich, Switzerland right now minding my own business, just finished a nice hike with my friends. Figured it would be a nice time to check the game, see what’s up. Andddddd chaos has erupted. A fun little he said she said is going on between Aaron and Denise with my name being one thrown out. Both Leslie and Jaime reported back to me about this news and that resulted in the three of us forming a chat called the As. I feel like I’m both of their #1s which is fantastic. As for my #1, I really like em both and I think I have some time before I have to make a clear cut #1. As of now, my slight hunch is Leslie, I really think she’s got my back, but I also feel really good about Jaime. Now onto the guys, I think it’s pretty obvious that Aaron and Frosti are close. I need to see where Erik is at because the only way I could seriously be in trouble is if my entire Malibu “alliance” is against me and has the numbers to get me out 4-3. I’m slightly concerned about that, but I think I can navigate the situation by being calm for now and if I need to make a splash, I’m not afraid to. I don’t like that Aaron hasn’t told me that Denise threw my name out like he told the girls. But, I think I’ll learn a lot more after I talk to Erik and hopefully I can gain the numbers regardless to control where this vote is going.

Ok quick confessional before a power nap. I feel like the chirps of my name being out there have subsided. If we lose the challenge tonight, I definitely want to get Denise out. We’ve barely talked and because she is a part of the potential effort to vote me out, having her in the game is no good. As for Aaron, I’m playing the angle of playing up his relationship with Frosti, especially to Erik, so that 1. Erik feels a closer allegiance to me within the alliance and 2. I have the option to execute a blindside down the road to take one of em out. I secretly know which one I’d want to do, but I’ll leave it a surprise for now. Speaking of for now, gotta focus on todays challenge and hope we win so we don’t go back to tribal. See y’all in a few hours.
