-- 5th Place - Voted Out 3-2 --
#76516
The first Tribal Council of merge, it is never an easy one. Jaime was evicted and is the first member of our jury. Always keep in mind, Jurors are people who can potentially be that one extra vote you need in order to win the game!

Most of you are great with your confessionals. But for some of you, try to update the viewers with what your true thoughts are as new situations develop and arise throughout the day. You don't need questions to post in your confessional! Anytime something comes up, just write in here like a personal diary so the lurkers can keep up with you. We can see your chats, but we can't gather what your true thoughts are about some things going on since you're all having your game faces on when talking with other castaways, and the lurkers are always wanting to know if your words to someone may be true or not, before a challenge or tribal happen! Now, let's get into the questions.

  1. As said above, we are also in the jury phase now. Congrats on making jury! Let's ask the big question everyone in this phase gets asked: How important do you think jury management is for you?
  2. What would you say has been the most difficult thing about merging into one tribe?
  3. For some of you, that was your first tribal. For others, this was like any other round. How did you feel about this particular tribal council? Was Jaime leaving the right call for your game, or would you have wanted someone else first as the merge boot? Were you nervous or excited with all the many whispers going around at Tribal?
  4. Are you having fun with your Stranded experience? What are some of your favourite highlights so far?
  5. Could we get an updated trust rankings with all of your new tribemates included? Top to bottom

  • Thank you! Normally, I would say jury management is very important in this game. In my case, however, I kind of have to disregard it in order to stay alive in this game. I think these people are smart enough to recognize that if I somehow find my way to the end, I deserve to win this game. Obviously other players are playing strong games, but I don’t anticipate losing votes because of my jury management to this point.
What would you say has been the most difficult thing about merging into one tribe?
  • Haha, that answer is kind of obvious. It’s that Ancha still seems to be really united, at least for now. Coming into the merge with a 7-4 disadvantage makes it nearly impossible for me to control my way to the end. I have to improvise and work hard just to survive. While I admit it’s fun to scrap, there are moments where I wish the game I was playing was a bit less stressful.

  • I mean I really didn’t have much of a say. Losing Jaime is tough, I really liked her, honestly to the point where she was passing Leslie as my #1 ally, but I’m just happy it wasn’t me, that is the most important thing for my game, keep hope alive. The whispers were marvelous. Was definitely a part of my strategy to use the whispers to spook everyone. Not that I thought it would change the outcome of the vote, more so, for my own entertainment of imagining the fear behind their screens.
Are you having fun with your Stranded experience? What are some of your favourite highlights so far?
  • Of course I’m having fun. I’m playing exactly how I would’ve dreamed to play this game and I wouldn’t change a thing, except maybe finding a way to win some immunity challenges. My highlight in this game was definitely my Aaron blindside. Felt like the man when I executed that, really made me feel like I could do damage in this game when I took out a strong player like him early on. Also I’m not all villain, I want to take this time to acknowledge the appreciation I have for Leslie and Jaime. Jaime was so sweet, talking to her made me happy, and I will really miss having her in the game. Leslie has been my rock. She calms me down when I’m stressed, she’s a great person to talk game with, and she’s just simply a really good person. She is going to make a great mom soon and it has been really nice getting closer with her.

lmfao that jump from the C- to an F is taking me out.

Additional question for you. You mentioned that OG Ancha feels very comfortable. Have you or any of your allies managed to make inroads that could potentially shake up that group? or does it seem pretty locked in?

I think that Deshawn, Abe, Heather, and Evvie are the inner core of Ancha. I’ve come to this conclusion because Leslie and I are sitting online right now and none of them are talking to us, yet they are all staying online. I need to convince Shan to put aside her Xander/Sara vote out urges for now and bring attention to this. I need to get one of these four out if I want to stay in this game long term. Ideally, it would be Heather and if not her, Abe, but I need to be very careful about how I navigate this. I don’t trust Xander and Sara, but we need them for this vote. That is my top priority right now, getting them on board to vote Heather. Well that’s my priority behind winning immunity tonight. If Leslie and I can make this happen, I truly think we can control our own destiny for the rest of this game, we can go with Shan and get Xander/Sara, we can turn it on Shan to Xander/Sara, or my personal favorite, we get get rid of this entire inner core I’ve made up. Deshawn, Abe, and Evvie. If I can outlast these three players, I deserve to win this game. Wish me luck tonight.

Hey Susie,

It’s 3:40 in the morning and I can’t sleep. Here’s my Stranded update for you all. I anticipate tomorrow being the craziest day of Survivor I’ve had so far. People are going to lay down the options for me and I’ll ultimately make the call on which direction to go in. Deshawn wants to get Erik and won’t tell me why, but says he wants me to be a part of his long term plans. What my guess is right now is that there are people on Ancha that want me out (besides Heather of course I could see Sara and Xander being done with me) and I think Deshawn is trying to protect me to have me as one of his numbers for when he’s ready to strike. While I appreciate that he wants to keep me in this game, I’m not just trying to stay alive to play someone else’s game, therefore I plan on hearing out alternative solutions and potentially making my own move. I need to see what Abe and Evvie each say to me, both have expressed interest in working with me and potentially removing an Ancha, but Abe wants to bring Sara in on it, and I feel like Evvie is in too good of a spot to make a splash right now. I do think Shan and I are on the same page for at least this vote. Where I can make things really interesting is that if I hear word that there’s going to be votes for me and there’s going to be votes for Erik like a split, I might then try and get Leslie Erik and Shan to vote Heather with me again. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet, keeping my options open, but I’m sure tomorrow will be very eventful.
