Episode 08: I'll quit the jury if they vote us all out before any of them

Welcome back! Hope you had a refreshing weekend!
Danni led the Numbers challenge and Deshawn won individual immunity, and then you had the weekend to decide what to do about the vote. Nine players remain! Let's hear your thoughts at this point in the game.
Were there any surprises on who guessed who in the Numbers challenge?
Why did you vote the way you did tonight? How does that tie in to your overall strategy to win?
Many of you have made some close bonds. With whom do you enjoy solving Stranded mysteries the most? What mysteries have you solved together in the game so far? Are your fellow mystery-solving players also the ones you have the highest level of trust in?
What’s your best move next round? How likely do you think your chances are of getting to make that move?
If this is your first season, tell us how it’s going for you. What have been your biggest surprises about the player you turned out to be? If this isn’t your first season, tell us about your first game. What sort of player were you then? How does that compare to now?
How do you feel about being the only female contestant left from Kallpa, and do you have any regrets about teaming up with Jaime and eliminating the other two female contestants instead of aligning with the women to vote out the male players?
Now, some questions from the lurkers:
John asks, “How do you think the jury will respect your game if you continue on your current path?”
Mike wants to know, “Who on the cast would you like to call a fat cunt?”

Not really, I figured Sara was against Abraham and Evvie. I hope they noticed though.

I voted this way because I was hoping to gain trust with most of the people. I knew we weren't going to be able to sway the votes, so hopefully I was able to gain votes on both sides. Hopefully it will allow for me to choose who I want to work with, and start taking out other people.

I miss Jaime. She was my favorite to figure things out with. Right now the only person I can talk with is JR. JR and I were able to know most of what was going on and figure out where the votes were this time as well as in Aaron's vote. Hopefully we are working our way up like we did last time. Idk how long I can play with JR though.
What’s your best move next round? How likely do you think your chances are of getting to make that move?
I am hoping we can get them to turn. I don't know who, but I need to make sure that it goes well. Ideally I would like to work with Shan.
If this is your first season, tell us how it’s going for you. What have been your biggest surprises about the player you turned out to be? If this isn’t your first season, tell us about your first game. What sort of player were you then? How does that compare to now?
I thought this was everyones first season LOL. I think that I get way more irritated than I thought I would. It is extremely frustrating that people aren't actually trying to make any moves. Like what is up with this tribe and their unwillingness to turn on each other. ESPECIALLY people like Heather LOL.
How do you feel about being the only female contestant left from Kallpa, and do you have any regrets about teaming up with Jaime and eliminating the other two female contestants instead of aligning with the women to vote out the male players?
LOL obviously I do. I even felt really nervous about it when we were heading into the Denise vote. I told Denise but she didn't think so. I also tried to talk Jaime into trying for Erik the first vote, but no one was willing to do it. I just hope
Now, some questions from the lurkers:
John asks, “How do you think the jury will respect your game if you continue on your current path?” - I have no idea. Honestly, right now I am trying to stay alive. I am hoping once they start to turn on each other I can hopefully make some bigger moves. Hopefully they will be able to see the small ways I am able to shape choices people made on the Kallpa tribe. Idk though. It would have been great. Idk if it would have changed where we are now. Other than the fact that Sherea was actually good at stuff.
Mike wants to know, “Who on the cast would you like to call a fat cunt?” - I don't care how much I don't like someone, I would never take it that far. I know it is boring, but sorry about it.

I really wish we could have flipped some people, but it is clear that they wouldn't this was the only way to build trust with most of them in order to hopefully be able to be in a position where they could turn on each other. Hopefully Shan voting for one of her own will help in making a flip happen. I don't think Abe will think it is her which will help. I really hope the immunity is something I can win. The last one was hard for JR or I to win because of the fact that it was 7 v 3.

I will say I regret not voting Frosti instead of Aaron. *Maybe we could have won the premerge thing and taken one more number into the merge, but we didn't and Frosti quit. So, dang.

Well this is an awkward time for me to finally pop into one of your confs...
Hi! I'm Stranded's resident Otter, the mammal and not the gay subclass. To clarify, I asked this question in jest and was beyond tickled that it ended up in the Qs for this episode.
I feel as though it's important to state that your answer isn't boring - it's great. Sure, saying a hilarious line at the expense of someone else is great, but so is giving honest glimpses into who you are and how you think!
But now I have a follow up question - if calling someone a fat cunt is (understandably) too far for you to go, where does the "too far" line start for Leslie and end? What's an unforgivable, guaranteed to not get a jury vote from you if you don't make it to the end type of thing someone could do to you in terms of gameplay that is crossing that line? Again, purely from a "gameplay" perspective, not hurling explicit words, or lying about a dead dog. Specifically a game related move that's too far for you and would guarantee you vote for someone else at the end or break off a game relationship with them?
Keep up the great work and confessionals! They've been fun to read all season!

Implying you weren't a fat cunt to begin with already

Same brain.
Poor Leslie seeing us hijack her confessional with fat cunts.

Omg lol I wasn't expecting to come back to this. If it is truly a game move, and not like personal, I am not actually sure. I feel like if it is actually good for their game I'd accept it. Like if Erik had done what I had done and manipulated his vote to potentially save Shan, I would be irritated, but I feel like I'd also get it. Like if voting for me would allow him to make it further and gain some trust with these people who so far have refused to get blood on their hands, protect and cover himself, and ensure it was clear one of Ancha voted against one of their own, I would respect it. Honestly, if it is a TRUE game move, I don't know if I would hold that against someone. However, as the game goes on, we will see if that changes LOL. However, I don't think pulling a Johnny Fairplay is ever a wise decision.

Nice attempt to save yourself Mike! And by nice attempt, I mean that was a nice follow-up question.
Leslie, it's funny because in my first org, which was stranded, someone called me that or something very close to it, and I think at the time they thought I was a guy, not a woman in her '50s, lol. And just for the record, I'd never call anybody that ever.

For real, thank you guys for the very unique ending to my day. It has not been as fun since Jaime left. Hoping soon some of these people will actually start playing with me or at all... conversations don't feel real right now. They all seem fake. Like I HIGHLY doubt that Abraham is going around saying how much he "loves" Leslie. LOL. But okay, dude.

Nothing wrong with being a little fake, just ask Aurora, she's obsessed with these Lips i got done during her season ;) Could you give us a rundown on which players you think are being honest with you and which ones are being fake? Maybe a ranking from most honest to least?
Keep your head up Leslie!

For sure! I feel like sometimes it shifts throughout conversations, but especially after last night here are my thoughts
1. JR - he is keeping me in the loop. So I think I can trust his info, but idk how much I can anymore. He clearly does things that are better for his game. Which is smart, but I can see him trying to shift things his way. I also think he probably views me as a goat because he still doesn't know Jaime and I talked and easily could have flipped on him.
2. Shan - I feel like her Xander vote allowed me to trust her more last night. I also hope that the fact I came up with a stupid plan to protect her vote could help. I hope JR didn't try to own that.
3. Deshawn - I think for the most part I can trust Deshawn. I think this is mainly because he is clearly trying to be honest enough for jury votes. I think he will be honest with me before jury, maybe not a whole lot earlier, about who is going because he noticed what Jaime said about the people who were honest to him.
4. Evvie - I think she will tell me things if she knows Deshawn has shared. I think they are both trying for jury management, but he is doing a bit better at beating her to it. I think she probably views him as her biggest threat. Even if also closest ally.
5. Xander - he might be above "the three" (Deshawn, Abraham, and Evvie) but I can't tell. I think me telling him he was getting a vote bought some trust there hopefully. He really seems like a good guy. I think he is being about as honest as the others, BUT I really think that he might come for a more genuine place when he is honest. I just think he isn't quite as honest as the others, but their convos feel very much so like jury management
6. Heather - we all know I am not a fan of Heather and I really hope that she is trying to play as a goat and not just really like unaware of her place in the tribe. I think she would go after JR before me.
7. Sara - I like Sara more than Heather, but we never talk and she would go for me before JR I think.

OMG Let me tell you, I am putting in a TON of work. I know JR thinks that we need to blow everything up, but the issue is that they always freaking talk so we need to take out Heather even though it isn't best I am so freaking over him. If he genuinely thinks him "blowing things up" is working, he clearly is not paying attention. They freaking talk with each other. UGHHHHHHHHHH If he is purposefully doing it okay, but why can't he just lay low for ONE round. Like yes, he wants to "play to win" well, JR, if you cannot actually have them take anyone out, and let me tell you guys, I don't think he can win until the end, he isn't realized HE WILL GO OUT NEXT!
