I really don't want to annoy the jurors too much. I definitely am curious about what they think on some stuff, but don't want to bother them. I am so interested in some of what is happening. I feel like Abe has tried to start doing jury management now and I think it is super interesting that Xander MAY be trying to point out the fact if he had deep relationships with everyone, it is possible he had deep relationships with pretty much no one. I am interested if that was purposeful or if he really was just kind of hurt and venting. I'd like to think maybe he is trying to point out Abe's weaknesses. Interesting for sure. It is difficult because I don't believe Abe got lucky in terms of people going along with him, because it is clear he put in a lot of work, but it is interesting that he took people for their word to the extent he did. I wonder if he feels like he was most people's #1 and didn't realize that it wasn't necessarily the case, or if he is trying to make people feel like he really trusted them by his comments. I think Abe is very aware of how others played for the most part, but Xander seems to have a better understanding of his flaws. Abe will own the mistakes we noticed, but he continues talking about how he dominated and was the biggest threat for pretty much all of the merge. I don't agree with that. I think he was one people wanted to get out because he could win, but Deshawn was a way bigger threat to all of us. I think some people had a small chance against Abe. But I think truly not a single person would have won against Deshawn. I really think socially Xander did better. I think Evvie and Deshawn really protected Abe. It wasn't relationships with others that protected him, but not wanting to make those two mad. So he clearly did pick good relationships, but what about his lack of jury management?
Xander did not win any idols and "only" one challenge, but funny enough because before I really would have been dead set against voting for Xander, did they have a more well-rounded game? They both outlast everyone, but I am going to think about their outwit and outplay. I don't think I realized how connected Xander was and I definitely didn't give them any credit. I thought they were just carrying Xander, not that they had a serious final 3. It would be different if Evvie and Abe said they weren't a serious final three but just thought they could beat Xander. Super interesting. I thought it would be way easier than it is turning out to be. I just want to make sure I vote for the person who really played a well rounded game.
Abe
Outwit - he was able to trick people at first with making a lot of people making them feel close, but it backfired because only Xander and Evvie really thought he would protect them at the end. We may have accidentally made his ego a bit too big with trying to make him worry about his people turning on him, but overall people like Sara and Heather really thought he was closer with them. That is impressive.
outplay - he got the only idols and he was able to win like five challenges.
Xander
Outwit - they made everyone think they weren't connected with Evvie, Deshawn, and Abe. I questioned if had a relationship with Deshawn at one point, but they hid that SO well. That is really impressive because maybe people realized they were close with Evvie but I had no idea they had a serious F2! That is pretty impressive. They also were able to get everyone to think they were being true to his word. JR and I hadn't realized that they wasn't voting with us until it was impossible for them to hide the fact. That is super impressive. They were even able to hide from Sara that they hadn't voted with Sara for Abe. Sara really thought Xander stayed true to the end.
outplay - they did win a challenge which is more than I could freaking do.
Question, can they still IM each other?
