This is Leslie's Final Tribal Council Thread.

All other Jurors should remain in their own threads.

Leslie, you have until Sunday at 8c/9e to post your statements/questions to the Final 2. Remember not to take up too much of their time as they have 8 other jurors to get to. Please no listing or questions requiring novels for answers. You should post all of your statements/questions in your opening post in this thread, keeping follow-ups to a necessary minimum, or congratulatory thank you/nothing further.

Sorry, guys crazy weekend. You should be so proud of yourselves for making it this far! I think you both have done a wonderful job so far sharing information regarding the season.

Abe - When you found out that I was saying your name, you did not want to talk about options for the night JR went out. How do you feel not talking with people about to go out/people who didn't want to go your direction help your game?

Xander - I know you mentioned you could have flipped on Abe. If you had, who would you have had a greater chance of beating? If you could have picked, who do you think you would definitely win against?

Sorry, I just realized that there isn't a live tribal. One more question for you each because in Abe's drawing, there weren't a whole lot of lines for me. So, I am just curious, out of everyone who made it to merge, who do you think were the top three people I trusted/believed? Just curious because I was someone on the bottom. Just curious to see if you guys were able to get that information out of anyone to determine who I was closest with in the game.

Hey Leslie!

You're right, the night it was Abe vs JR was a tough one. I didn't want to talk any options as I knew it was a losing battle. You and JR had been working together since the Aaron blindside (from what I knew based on what I was told) and were the only two Kallpa members left in the game. Despite how much I could have worked you, I knew i couldn't change your mind and get you to vote JR. I also wasn't going to float the idea for voting for Evvie or Xander as they were my equivalent to you and JR's relationship. The lines were extremely clear and I had to do my best to work Evvie and Xander that night and push that you two were going to vote Evvie had I won immunity. Had I not done that, Evvie and Xander may have really voted for me and I'd be on the jury right now. I'm sorry if it came off as writing you off as a player, but I had to put all my energy into strengthening my F3 group the last time I was going to potentially be vulnerable. I don't think you had the intention to really save me the night we were planning to vote JR and I know you're a smarter player than that. You were going to do your best to let me go that night as Evvie was immune, JR was your closest ally, and Xander was the potential swing vote.

As for your follow up, I love this question as I've been meaning to try and figure out your alliances/relationships. We always had such a cordial relationship but it never really went into serious game talk. However, I thankfully had some very powerful relationships that may have revealed your true ties. There was a pivotal round (F8) where you came up with an incredible plan. You spoke to Evvie about forming a F3 alliance with Shan and then work with JR and Heather to vote me out 5 to 3. Since my relationship with Evvie was so strong, I was able to learn about your F3 alliance idea before Shan even knew about it, and she was the one in the F3 alliance. So because of that, I believe that the three people you trusted / believed the most were JR, Shan, and Evvie. I don't deny that I could be wrong, but based on information that I received throughout the game, this is what I have to believe to be true.

Thanks for your question and hope everything is going well with your pregnancy! Feel free to ask anything further.

Thank you! Just to clarify, I totally get why you were like there are four people left, it seems like this may have happened with other jurors earlier in the merge. Was this intentional? Or was it just because you trusted where you felt people were going to be and you didn't want to waste time talking through options? Just curious. Thank you :)

Sorry, one more clarification, I am asking because a big part is perception and I might be wrong. You may not have been doing that and may have talked to others. I just wasn't sure if there was a purpose to that or if I misunderstood what was happening.

Sorry. 😅 From my perspective and what I think I understand from some people, it seems like you may have avoid talking with people if they were on their out. Is this true? Or did you actively talk with people even though you knew they were going out? If you did avoid talking with people or being honest to people regarding the fact they were going out, how did that help your game? If it doesn't make sense that is okay. My brain is doing the best it can to phrase the question, but it isn't a huge deal if it isn't answered. Sorry 🤣😅

Ohhh okay, no that makes sense!

I didn't think I was doing that intentionally. It might have just been subconsciously letting people go and the person going noticing that. I told Sara the night she was going that she was in trouble despite it possibly ruining my game but then shut up about it when I knew for certain she was going. Jaime also mentioned that even though she was leaving, I still made an effort to have good conversations with her and valued my relationship with her. Same with Deshawn, I had an amazing relationship with him up until I had to vote him out. That was what made that vote so tough for me, as we talked pretty much every day when we were both online.

On the opposite end, I didn't talk to you, Heather, and Shan as much the night you left. Heather had already voted for me previously and she straight up told me she doesn't want to play my game anymore and that she was going a different route. I knew there was no working with Heather from that point on. I was terrified of Shan figuring out she was going and just didn't want to risk it by saying anything to her that could clue her in. And for you Leslie, there was nothing that could be said that would get me to turn on Evvie or Xander. We did talk briefly before you were voted out where you asked if I would vote for Evvie, but I told you there was no way I could do it. There wasn't anything else I could say to you that wouldn't seem like I was just patronizing you for the sake of getting your jury vote. I'm not that type of person.

So I definitely believe you in that I did this and I'm sorry if it seemed cold, but I really did value the relationships I made in the game and because of that, I may have iced out or felt awkward with just talking to people up until the moment they were leaving. I hope that makes sense!

Thanks for the question Leslie!

I think it's hard to predict exactly how things would go but I would feel more secure going against you. Sorry if that's too forward. Conversely though,  I do think it would be harder to contrast my game from yours. I would have also felt like Evvie and I would have had a pretty fair shot against one another. Fact is though i made the choices I made, some of them emotional and I am here with Abe. Do I have a longshot chance of beating him? Yeah, but I'm gonna fight as hard as I can because anything can happen. I think you and I were both playing game's that weren't flashy but that doesn't mean they are any less.

As for who I thought you were aligned with? I had notes written pre merge that said you were with Aaron JR and Jaime. Post-merge, JR Sara and Evvie.  I apologize for my lag in answering, i'm going kinda slow so i can answer all the questions thoughtfully.

LOL I love direct answer. Thank you for your answer. Keep taking your time. I can only speak for myself, but I am listening super closely and I have not decided yet. Great job on making it to F2!

I am happy and appreciate that you have an open mind while making this decision. Abe and I's games differed in many ways but i am happy that mine may still have value in some folks eyes.

Xander, I don't know what would have happened, but if the Abe vs. Sara vote had been even and you had to revote, who would you have gone with? Your relationship with Evvie and Abe or Sara? and why? Not looking for a specific answer, I mainly want to know the why.

Clarification: I want to understand what you would have done, but I am not hoping for a specific answer as much as I want the reasoning behind what choice you would have made.

Good question Leslie! Dang I love that.

I think had I known what I know now, hindsight is 20/20 and I would say Abe. But in that  moment, I would have probably had to go with Sara due to the numbers. But I think it would have still had a similar effect on my game and I would have played the same way.

But that woulda been fun to have happen right!

Okay, so had Shan and I split our votes and caused a tie, you probably would have ended up going with Abe and Evvie? I'm not sure what would have happened with a tie, but I was just curious on whether you would stick with Abe and Evvie or Sara if you they had forced a revote between the two. Thank you!

it's hard to say. I was really feeling stubborn and indignant that night and didn't wanna vote for either of them. In a perfect world we would have tied the revote and then had to vote out someone other than those two. Had that been the case I would have campaigned for Shan. Because I just didn't wanna see Abe or Sara go.

Okay, I assumed it would be like the TV show where if there is a tie, there is a revote and you can only vote for one of the two. At that point if there is still a tie, it goes to rocks but there were an odd number of people so that wouldn't have been possible I don't think. It could be different in Stranded though. Thanks for the answer :)

I think you're right.

Since that wouldn't have been possible with the odd number of people I think I would have inevitably chosen Sara to go. I would have been even more dissatisfied with myself if that was the case.
