HELLO AND WELCOME!!!
 

This is the first officialday of your journey in Stranded! You'll have the weekend to get to know your tribe better, I suggest bonding well with each other over the coming days. There were questions in the pre-season confessional, but let's give a couple more.

1. The Tribe Leader is an intriguing position... what do you think it means? Would you want to be it or not? What made you volunteer for it?
2. People are chatting it up today, so give us the deets: who are you vibing with, who are you more mellow on, etc?
3. Any plans for the weekend? Both in-game or out of it?

Trust me, when we say this game will get real intense and fast once the challenges begin to start after the weekend, we mean it. Good luck! And as always, feel free to type or speak whatever you want in here.

1. Honestly have no idea what being the tribe leader means, but in my mind I was like ok I want to have as much influence in the beginning as possible and I want to take risks. I think if I lay a solid quick social game, people will support me as being the leader and not someone who is just power hungry. I could tell off the bat that people were being a little hesitant about volunteering to the the leader so I was like hell let’s take the bull by the horns and do this. I feel like everyone has been supportive. No one wants to stick their neck out too early in the game I think. 

2. I’m getting pretty good vibes from everyone so far and if I had to make a snap judgment about who I think I will vibe with the most I think it’s Denise and Frosti. We were all talking about where we were from and what we did and Sherea was being pretty cagey about it all so I’m not sure what they was about.  I’m not sure how long I can keep up with the one big happy family trope and keep putting exclamation marks behind all of my sentences but I think it makes people feel at ease, especially eternally positive people like Leslie. No word from Jean-Robert yet so he may be an easy first target. I’m seeing that Frosti and Denise are more chill so I’m looking forward to having some one on ones with them this weekend and winning them over. Erik reached out as well so I’ll be working that this weekend. 

3. In the game- definitely planning on continuing one on ones with every one in the tribe to try and get more solid reads on who i
vibe with and I definitely want to pitch some alliances now they everybody’s jumping in. Out of the game- driving up to Washington to see the Joni Mitchell/Brandi Carlile show which I’m STOKED about.

Wow we have UPDATES. Have been trying to lay some groundwork with everyone this weekend. Obviously have wanted to talk strategy but have been trying to hold off in fear of being too aggressive. Jean Robert said he was looking for people to work with so of course I JUMPED at the opportunity. I came into the game already hating JR but now he may be my closest ally!? I then proposed bringing in Frosti bc I’ve gotten good vibes from him. I then told Frosti I was looking for people and he was down which was perfect. I wanted a 4th person to join us. Frosti already said he got weird vibes from Denise which was a bummer bc I like Denise but I wanted to go along with Frosti so it unfortunately looks like Denise isn’t going to make the cut. I didn’t to appear too controlling so I wanted to allow Frosti to suggest who else we should bring in. He suggested Erik which is fine. So I’m pretty sure I’ve got a solid 4 now with JR, Frosti, and Erik. Sherea being a little cagey during our first tribal chat was very easy for me to exploit to Leslie and Jamie. Everybody’s looking for an easy first vote and that person is clearly going to be Sherea. Then once Sherea is out, we will have a 4-3 majority in the tribe. This is assuming we lose immunity which hopefully doesn’t happen. I am trying to get to know everyone as well in case that’s a helpful aspect for the leader role I’ve taken on. Thinking that may be part of the challenge- how well you know your team. Leslie and Jamie have been pretty chatty with me which is great. I want them to feel comfortable with me which it seems like they do. I’d like Denise to be our 5th bc there’s still something about her that I like. I think I could easily push Leslie or Jamie to be the 2nd one out if that needs to happen. I feel like I’m pulling the strings a little bit but hopefully I’m not getting sniped behind my back already!! TIME WILL TELL

Great effort on the Puzzling challenge tonight. Please share your thoughts about the challenge and tomorrow’s vote with your avid lurkers.

1.            How did the challenge planning talks go down tonight, any surprises there?

2.            How do you feel about your own challenge performance?

4.            As you’ve been getting to know your fellow tribe members, are any working relationships forming?

WELL SHIT. That was rough. 

1. It really felt like complete chaos once the challenge was announced. I was on my phone instead of computer which turned out to the the WORST. That can’t happen again.  We haphazardly assigned people to the different legs of the challenge but I feel like no one had a great grasp on what was going on, including myself, which was stressful. 

2.  I feel like I really tanked. Working from my phone was useless so I was really at the mercy of my tribe mates. As the “leader” I felt pretty shitty about that. 

3. Right now most everyone is talking Sherea which is great. Leslie and Jaime were a little hesitant because they said she was good in the challenge. Leslie said Frosti was the one to “blame” but I’m definitely not losing Frosti, he’s my #1 currently. They were both down to go with the majority so it’s going to be Sherea. I also mentioned to the guys to casually push Sherea to the other girls over the next couple days so I think we’re golden. 

4. I laid some more good ground work today with Denise, Leslie, and Jamie. Telling them they I feel comfortable with them and like talking to them. It’s seems like none of the girls are gaming too hard so I think us 4 guys are in a good spot and I’m expecting a unanimous vote for Sherea tomorrow night.

WELL SHIT.  I was talking to Jaime earlier today and she mentioned that Frost told her that people were asking him about who should go next tribal council. WHY WOULD HE TELL JAMIE THAT?! I get he’s got his own game to play but we gotta keep that shit locked up. I brought that question up in our Dudes alliance under the assumption it was confidential. That definitely gives me concern about Frosti but I think it’s too early to pursue that. I told him Jamie mentioned that to me so he’s aware that I know. I wanted to tell him to STFU but it’s also too early for that. Regardless, tonight should be unanimous for Sherea then we’ll see how tomorrows challenge goes.
