Second week, congrats on surviving thus far! Things will only get more hectic as we get smaller in numbers to the end. We finally had our first Challenge and Tribal Council in one day... successfully (thanks Danny), and it definitely won't be the last time that happens. Buckle up.

  1. Since we are in the second week now, are you afraid of anything which may happen or pop up during it?
  2. What are some red flags to you in this game when talking to people? What is something that someone can do/say which starts to make you cautious of them?
  3. You've seen members of the other tribe online here and there, and you've now seen them in public a few times during the live challenges. Do you have any impressions or speculations on individuals or the overall dynamic of the opposing tribe?
  4. Code Breakers! It seems like Abraham beasted yet another win for Ancha, and all of Kallpa flopped again with another challenge. How do you feel about all these things in the long term, for merge? You intimidated, or feeling at ease?

Ah, the powerful legacy of Danny's impact on the game! Delaying the inevitability of the chaos of a back to back challenge & tribal!

- Since we are in the second week now, are you afraid of anything which may happen or pop up during it?

I don't know that afraid is the word. More like... cautiously nervous about the fact that tonight is more than likely a swap. That's all we've been talking about since last week and tonight makes the most sense for it so that's definitely where I'm at now. As far as I know, a few of us have been talking about possible scenarios of what could happen and at the end of the day, it's a numbers game so the split following a swap will definitely have a huge impact in the next chapter of the game.

Personally, a swap is by far the moment I dread the most in the entire game and I know this week will be extremely chaotic based on how things end up. I'll be 100% honest, the merge doesn't scare me but the swap terrifies me.

-What are some red flags to you in this game when talking to people? What is something that someone can do/say which starts to make you cautious of them?

People who are flaky, non-committal or who go out of their way to keep the conversation to a bare minimum. It makes me nervous because I'm not stupid, if we're 10 days into the game and the only thing you find to say to me is 'how was your day?' or 'how are you?', then I know I don't have any sort of place in your gameplan. The social/strategic aspects play a big part for me and that's a red flag I can't really return from.

In terms of caution, I try not to be too upfront about my own strategy so I can understand people who don't just spit out their entire game every time we talk, but people who still don't seem to have any kind of game plan at all and are just "here to talk to people" make me kind of nervous at this point, too. I get the talking to people and making nice and I've been doing it since day 1 but if you're still telling me that's *all* you're doing then either you think I'm stupid or you're actually not here to play the game and in either case, that's not good for my end game.

-You've seen members of the other tribe online here and there, and you've now seen them in public a few times during the live challenges. Do you have any impressions or speculations on individuals or the overall dynamic of the opposing tribe?

l feel like they're sort of our punching bags at this point and there's a part of me that feels bad about it. Their experience, for now, definitely can't be the same as the one Ancha has had. I think the general consensus is that they're probably not as cohesive and might not actively go through old seasons to try and figure out future challenges, etc. It feels like strategically speaking, we might have a leg up on them. That being said, the fact that they've had to play the game much harder because they've gone to tribal multiple times now, I know that they've played a part of the game that we haven't experienced. They've had the opportunity to test loyalties, to make sure their alliances were real, etc.

I think we're all trying to figure the alliances out, see who might be low on the pecking order etc but no one was expecting Aaron to go this round so obviously there's something there that we haven't figured out yet and that's also one of the aspects of a swap that worries me. There are a lot of moving parts and variables we only really have assumptions on.

-Code Breakers! It seems like Abraham beasted yet another win for Ancha, and all of Kallpa flopped again with another challenge. How do you feel about all these things in the long term, for merge? You intimidated, or feeling at ease?

I would be lying if I said I don't absolutely love the fact that people like Abe and Shan are on my tribe. They've pretty much single-handedly got us all 4 wins. As much as it's always a tribe effort, they have been the two who have performed the best since the beginning. When it comes to long term / the merge, the pre-merge performance doesn't matter much to me. I see it as 2 different games. The challenges will be different, working individually might be very beneficial to some people who haven't had a chance to shine, too. Other than the idea of studying past challenges, I don't think pre-merge and post-merge challenge performance will be comparable so I don't feel either intimidated or at ease. If anything, knowing that at least one person is studying past challenges, I know that going into the merge I'll need to make sure I stay on top of my game and I do the same thing. So I feel like Abe being upfront about it and telling us can and will help going forward, at least those of us who will bother to do the same thing.

So with that; here's hoping for a good swap!

Pssst.. Deshawn...

You took a big risk, and it's about to pay off. What you now will know, and what your new tribe members can NOT know, is that the tribes are merging tomorrow.

You are not allowed to divulge this information or hint at it to them. You can, however, use this to your advantage in trying to make early inroads ahead of the big merger.

Good luck!
